Well here you are at the SheenView B&B Classic Cars Web Page

I have been a classic car nut for more years than I'm willing to admit.

I have hankered after (as we all have to one stage or another) the greats and the not so greats , over the years I have had many cars, some brilliant and others not so good !  I suppose the pinnacle was owning and driving two Ferrari's the first being a Mondial 3.2 QV and the latter being the Awesome 512 BB (Berlinetta Boxer) with its 5 litre horizontally opposed engine breathing through 4 triple barreled Webbers ! What a Noise !!

I passed the Classic bug on to both my sons Paul & Ben & helped both buy and restore to one degree or another their very first cars which as it turns out were both Hillman Imps  They have both now moved on to 'normal motoring vehicles' however Ben has just bought a Dutton Melos so I suppose he is also smitten ! (good on him I say)

The following photo's are a trip down MY memory lane hope you enjoy them as much as I have done the cars.

Well I hope you enjoyed that and remember classic car owners are always welcome at SheenView & there is a well equipped garage with all facilities and maybe even some help for you (if I'm around) just in case the much loved one decides to 'play up a bit' !! We have ample parking for at least 10 cars, Barbecue facilities tables and chairs to overlook the beautiful Macgillicuddy Reeks while having a cold one or wine and discussing about the days driving round Kerry's great mountain roads.

Just a couple of 'odd balls thrown in here for you, First being Nick Mason (AKA Pink Floyd) Alpha (notice the Reg No) & the Second being Ferrari's 50 year celebration exhibit at Goodwood festival of speed.

The area is well known by car enthusiasts and each year the 'Rally of the Lakes' comes past our house on its way to the famous ‘Healy Pass’ stage.

There is also a huge classic motor cycle rally held by the MUNSTER VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE & CAR CLUB often attracting entrants worldwide and again passing SheenView on a regular basis for the week they are here ! So all in all we already have a fairly good classic and vintage fraternity visiting , BUT there is always room for more so come over and bring the love of your life (the wife is welcome too !!)

We can also help with rally routes, hints on places of interest and meal reservations. There are some fantastic drives through the mountain ranges around Kenmare and we would be only too pleased to provide a packed lunch for those of you who would like to say out in the wilds to enjoy a picnic and take in the beautiful scenery.

We  look forward to hearing from you and even more so to seeing your cars + hearing your stories.

 Peter & Amanda Mallinson
